"We met with three different building contractors before choosing Blueberry Property Services to work on our first floor extension. We chose Blueberry because of Richard's attention to detail, their FMB membership and the detailed payment schedule which formed part of the contract. We were looking for peace of mind and a stress free experience, and we were not disappointed with our choice. We would definitely recommend Blueberry Property Services.
The project was to build a first floor extension with pitched roof and bi-fold doors spanning the length of the extension and opening onto the garden. The extension also had to match the 3 meter foundation on which our house was built. This was potentially a difficult part of the project, and it didn't go without a few setbacks, all of which Richard took in his stride and dealt with efficiently. He stood by his quote and didn't attempt to bill us for any of the extra time spent on this phase even though we could see that this was costing him more than he expected. It is worth mentioning that all the quotes we received in relation to this were within the same ballpark, which means this was not as a result of poor estimation from Blueberry, just that there were a few unforeseen issues.
Once out of the ground however the build progressed a quite a pace. The walls were soon erected and the opening for the bi-fold doors was prepared accurately in consultation with our suppliers. I had very little to do at this stage other than consult with the supplier and Richard to confirm when the doors were going to be fitted.
Throughout the build Richard and his team were very courteous to both my family and neighbours. They always arrived at the agreed time and at the end of each day Richard and his team tidied up after themselves and ensured all their tools were stored safely away.
We are very pleased with results. The room is a lovely addition to our home and certainly has a wow factor that our friends all comment on"
